new spark and still nothing

checked the wires i took off the boot and the little copper thing the spark plug male end sits in was still on the spark plug. any suggestions on maybe this could be the reason why im getting no spark?

i was driving the bike and she slowed down. i tried to give it throttle and it just didnt move. then it rolled to a stop and just stalled. now it wont start. no spark. no nothing. just the smell of gas

Yep, your crappy spark plug cap is broken.

No need to buy a new CDI, unscrew the spark plug wire from the
CDI black box and replace it with a one piece moulded wire and boot.

Some of the new CDI's have the wire glued in but they can still be saved
by carefully digging the wire out.

The Chinese spark plug caps also screw off the wire.

when i release the clutch the bike doesnt move. when i squeeze the clutch it moves freely. there is a point at which it doesnt lock up when i release the clutch but has a **** of alot of drag but no turning of the motor or anything. doesnt the spark itself make the engine turn over?
