Hey Everybody,

Just putting a shout out for this awesome race series happening in a few weeks. Saturday April 2nd, get there early in the morning, gate opens at 7:30am, first heats start at 10:15. Main heats start after lunch around 1:30, racing usually ends around 4:00.

There is a $30 racing fee as well as yearly membership of $5. Lots of classes, beginner china doll engines, pro China dolls, midrange larger engines, unlimited monster engines, gopeds, mini go karts, we got it all.

The Grange race track is located in the middle of nowhere just outside of Victorville, California. People come from all over, San Diego, San Francisco/Bay area, Los Angeles, sometimes Las Vegas, and even St. Louis, Missouri which is crazy!

Lots of cool bikes of all different shapes to see, lots of cool like-minded people to meet.

I will be there attempting to defend my first place finish last race. If Nasmoto, Andy, and Chris don't break down, I will be a long shot.

Who's coming? Let's see a roll call, I miss seeing all of you guys, and girls.

As Scotto likes to say, "See you in the pits!"

Gilbert

PS: you can come on Friday and practice all day for a measly $20. Then camp overnight and prepare to race your a$$ off!

Yes, I was going from memory on the details, so I thought I may have got some wrong. I just wanted to put out the word.

I love this event, motorized bicycle racing has become a part of my life, and I want to recommend these races as something that you will not regret making the effort to attend. It's a super fun time, there is competition, but everyone is super friendly.

It's great, not expensive, and everyone who could, should come and ride.

This is open for discussion.
The main point of the new rule is to keep the 212cc at 8 HP the Midrange limit.
A stock 212cc with governor is 6.5 HP

The big issue is stock cam, piston, valves, rod, etc

of course a billet flywheel is OK.

A 212cc in the Midrange class should be very affordable at $99 plus minimum parts.
A 212cc motor is rather wide and big.

I don't see how could this be enforced.. Having racers tear down their engines for inspection isn't very realistic.

This bike used to be a mid-class race bike years ago......under 12HP back then. Now it's 215cc and nearly double that in horsepower which is definitely an unlimited class race bike, no doubt.

Come on out and see some awesome racing of motorized bikes and GoPeds like you will never see in an event of this kind!

Did I mention...... "See you in the pits!" ?

easy enough to pull the side cover on the big 4 strokes if their is a protest. you think they would be proud to show off a stocker that won.

Good News! I will be there with my cheap, kit style, not really a racing bike, motorized bicycle to compete in the beginner class. My bike tops out at 35 mph with a 40 tooth rear sprocket. Will I need a larger or smaller sprocket for this track? My goal is really to just finish the race, :) This will be my first time racing. I will be there on Friday as close to noon as possible for the practice. I think I have acquired all the equipment I need to race on the track now. I will be there in my 34' older Fleetwood Bounder motorhome. Stop by and say hello! See you all at the track!

40 to 44 tooth sprocket will be good.
You have to finish to win!
See you on Friday!
