Grocery grabber 3000

Here are some pic links of our latest club build. Built manily by maddog johniee at his welding shop . All the jackshaft parts ,side car and motor rack are "homemade" .the drive pulley is from fleet farm and the motor is off a toro snowthrower .

The rider tentions the belt with the slide bar on the left side of frame. It a wild and scary ride but fun as ****...
She is bound for the north woods of wisconsin to buzz cows and run to the store .

We just copied the basic rag joint concept ,the only bother is the spot weld pattern on the pulley and the hole for the rag joint bolts almost line up so we had to make sure your not drilling out the welds.
We have been playing with the idea of sprocket to hub adapters but so far all the bikes have been different enough that a standard wont work?
John seem's to think she'll do around 50mph (not with me on it!) but you need a long run to get any speed

Interesting to see the different ways there are to do things. 50 mph on a trike would be pretty thrilling all right, but not for me. Couple wings on there and you're airborne!
