Pondering the thought of making an axle mount after eyeballing NEAT TIMES DIY axle mount.
I already have the 5:1 pocket bike tranny, and could fab an engine/tranny mount brace for the rear axle.
Was wondering if anyone had any experience with Boy Go Fast's freewheel axle?

Was thinking, fancy scooter sells that 410 12tooth sprocket that would fit on the tranny, and I tried to contact BGF to find out if this would fit his freewheel axle...............

But the ebay messaging system wouldn't accept emails to his account............
I think the above 50t sprocket runs 415 chain and if you file down the teeths width, it will turn 410 BMX chain. Not sure though, and of course you would have to drill different holes in it.
Anyway bottomline: If the 50tooth sprocket would fit his freewheel axle, and if the freewheel axle is any good(including decent bearings) then this would be a good ratio.................................

5:1 pocket bike tranny * 12/50(4) = 20:1 gear ratio!
