Hey Norm,

Pulled my magnet/rotor, and found that the Woodruff is GONE!

So, where do I find the replacement key for cheap?

GRUBEE SkyHawk GT 2, 48cc.

CNS "NEW" Carb.

Please advise.

Also, are there any custom/replacement ways to replace this KEY? So I don't have to wait for shipping?

Thanks.

buy a replacement from one of the vendors or make your own use a dremel tool and files to make it you'll need a small vise and needle nose vise grip pliers. you should be able to get a woodruff key fairly close to the size needed at a auto parts store, it will be over sized so you will need to do some grinding on it.
You sure the key didn't stick to the mag rotor when you removed the rotor?

Actually, found the key, it had fallen and 'hid' from me in the dark last night.

It's in good shape, and I'm putting her back together today.

Seal looks great.

Gonna check for air leak though.

Let me know your thoughts on the rest of the thread recently posted by me.

It will eventually fail. Unfortunately these are some of the softest keys Ive even seen. Put mine back in only to have it slowly shear it off. Instead of rebuilding I just started looking into different type of motors. Woodruff keys arent supposed to fall out. Good luck.
