The Ralph's Service Station building in the historic Armory Park neighborhood. The building has stood at the corner of South Fourth Avenue and East 19th Street for more than 80 years.

The station hasn't serviced a vehicle since the late 1930s. The service station was built between 1929 and 1930. They say the green-and-white metal building was the first prefabricated gas station in Tucson. It was disassembled and brought to Tucson.

The property went into foreclosure about eight years after it opened, the location, along with the Great Depression, brought on the station's demise.

Here is another old service station built in 1924 known as the Old Pueblo Station for decades.

When it was in service, its location on Stone Avenue was one of the main entrances to Tucson. In 1980 it was a Union 76 and can be viewed in a scene in the 1980 movie "Stir Crazy."
