COSTA RICA
Hi to everybody out there! Hope there is someone who can helpme out here. I bought a new cruiser (nice looking but cheap chinese model) with small 2 stroke engine last october, Everything fine but where I live there a couple of really long winding hills and I find that the bike just doesn't have the power to climb. Also I'm 52 and hadn't been on a bike in 35 years which doesn't help. Do I have to get a 49cc engine or can I do something to modify the one I have. Here in Costa Rica it's difficult to get the engines. All advice welcome.
Many thanks

welcome to the site. easy and least expensive way to go is with a bigger rear sprocket. most of the kits come with a 44 tooth but best to count and see how many yours has. the larger the tooth the better it will climb but also you will loose top end speed with the bigger sprocket. another option is a shifting kit like sick bike parts has. glad you joined us and welcome to the forum
