I really like your build!
As I have a GT2-A sitting naked in my garage and I also have been contemplating a belt drive your thread could not have come at a better time. Please forgive me if I "borrow" a few of your ideas.
Thank you for sharing this build with us!

The frame is smaller than you think i am going to have to notch the top down tube about a 1/4''to clear the belt, cant move the motor to the right any more the hub on pulley will hit center tube

From what I have learned about these frames, I would not do any sort of cutting on them unless you can weld in a reinforcement. They flex alot and any sort of extra holes or notches will cause a crack.

Mine is what I could afford. Nothing to boast about.
HF 7x10 benchtop. They take alot of work to massage out the factory deficiencies, but after that is done they can produce great results.

You should've seen my local woodshop guy's face when I asked "Can I do metal on this?" He said I could, but he made it seem like not such a good idea.

This is the right place though, can't i just swap for a higher test electric motor?

Yes it is from phantom bikes with the charge coil i'm curious to see how well it works.I have a led tail light that i would like to run. It seems to be well made the charge has 2 coils with a aluminum case
