There were a lot of those Kawi Triples around when I was in high school. If I had the opportunity to buy a clean survivor, it would be tough to resist. (They were cooler than the 2 stroke Yamaha RDs, IMHO).

Brings back a few memories. I loved multi cylinder engines even though my first bike was a Bultaci Sherpa S. I went on to an H1, H2, Honda 500 with Yoshimura bits, and a CBX.
The H1 was responsable for scraping all the paint off the back of my Bell 500. The H2s were known as widow makers. All but the Bultaco were built into Cafe racers style. We didn't race from many coffee shops to coffee shops, but from Tavern to Tavern was closer to the truth.
The 500 Honda was as fast as the other bikes. At 330lbs, punched to 585CC, big carbs, Yoshima pieces, 4 into 2 megs sans silencers, good suspension pieces and tires, rededlined @ 13,500, it topped out at 130 and was very good through the twistie bits. I miss it the most.
Thanks for the trip
