Do they help on the low speed jerkiness? I take my kids for bike rides and use the engine to get up some of the hill with them in the bike trailer however at lower speeds the engine seems a little jerky. Will the centrifugal clutch help this?

I'd advise u to not run the motor when towing your kids behind you, the exhaust gets trapped in the trailer thru the front screen, and can cause asphyxiation. Not to mention what you could be ticketed with if a cop stops u.

when i was a kid i would love nothing more than to be pulled by an engine bike. i love the smell of two stroke fumes and it didnt give me any brain damage(6-12 seizures a day is healthy right?)

I can't say anything about exhaust, but the c-clutch is a big +.
I wiil not do any more builds without a c-clutch.
