Im going to be putting a bit of an investment into my wheels, amd while i dont live in a high risk area, that fact will do nothing to console me if my bike or its components get stolen. So i will also be investing significantly in security measures for my bike. One of those measure are security fasteners for the wheels. A company called Pinhead makes skewers and solid axle nuts for bikes that require a special "encrypted " and hard to get or duplicate key tool to loosen or tighten. They also make seat clamps and seat clamp skewers. Im probanly going to go ahead and get the seat clamp as well as making a lock for the seat out of an old bike chain.
Anyone familiar with pinhead wheel locks? Anyone used them? Are they good for a motorized build? Worth it? Injust want to make sure ,y bike and all its pieces are where i left them as much as i can. Thank.
