Sprotor Brake System.

Anyone using a Sprotor left side drive Sprocket combination Disc brake system on a Motorized Bicycle?

Searching for any information about this type of left side rear motor drive.

Some Vintage Mini Bikes like the Indians Mini Bikes / Cats Mini Bikes / Fantic Chopper Mini Bikes, and Simplex's if I'm not mistaken most used disc brakes on the sprocket, or aslo known as a "sprotor" motor drive sprocket disc brake system

I did see on the Pedalchopper website something that appears to be a Sprotor Combo Drive Sprocket / Disc Brake setup.

It's here on their website a Chrome OCC Chopper ( It's on your website lastest builds page the bike titled:First Build with Front & Rear Disc Brakes it's the OCC CHROME - "STREET ROD" http://www.pedalchopper.com/home/latest-builds/ ) with Rear Disc Brake Combo Left Side Drive Sprocket: Listed under Specially Engineered Universal Disc Caliper Mount Adaptor for Front or Rear Disc Brakes

I posted a comment about this Pedalchopper build in his thread titled:
5-Speed Electric 48-Volt Rear Hub.

Here's what I asked

Can you post a better pic maybe this right side view is a little blurry, and maybe show the left side with disc brake setup on the electric hub?

Jim,email sent to you.

I'm thinking disc brake side of hub converted to sproter, this way I can run my 4-stroke Honda Mini trail crf50 engine left side drive chain to rear wheel, without a jackshaft. No chain lube with sproter, always use chain wax!

Thanks for sharing your build.

Any info is appreciated.

Amazing Disc Brake & Sprocket Combo, very cool.

P.S. Pedalchopper is this dual Sprocket & Disc Brake design proprietary?
