the most recent pic of my engine

GoldenMotor.com
the thing is running great
its a bushing engine with a mismatched cylinder & piston with a fair amount of porting to line everything up
its great in the mid & upper mid range
it pulls hills better then ever as welll once up on the pipe

the carb is the ebay 18mm 4 stroke carb which is freaking perfect out of the box all I did was raise the needle one notch from stock
anyway.....
happy holoween
take care

Looking good Jak! You might want to add a few inches to your header pipe. That might give you more low end torque. Overall you did a great job on your pipe!(^)

HI,

Nice job on the pipe....couldn't help but notice, but the chain looks a little long?

Andrew
hey there guys :)
thanks for the kind words
on the chain .... if I take out one link its too short
I can get it tight but it stretches over time & I never have any trouble with it, the sprockets are lined up niceley :)

I could probably add to the header without screwing with the pipe too much
if I just sorta change the verry beginning
I hope you all had a great weekend

I just want to say your bike is one of my favs... it gives me so many ideas!
I love the straight-bar frame...
I like the "mad max" look, but I also can picture it all painted & chromed out too!
I'm picturing that pipe going down & tucking below the crank housing...
I can picture it with all that, & fat street slicks & a hard core springer!!

BAD ASS BIKE BRO!!!
It goes right along the lines of what I like to build!!

thank you :)
I definatly think I can make a better fork
I live in the mountains & like a little of the old school dirt bike vibe so Im gona keep the pipe high
if I paint it it will be low key like an olive green or something & try to find the origional rams head design which you can see on the frame
I cant seem to find stencils anywhere .....
have a great week

I saw a auction on ebay awhile ago, where someone was selling some old schwinn factory, metal clamp-on paint stencils that you are talking about.

It would also be real easy to get a decal maker to make some stencils from low-tack vinyl...
