i read that correct right? it does mount inside where the magneto is to generate power for the battery? that will make my life so much easier i figured i was goping to need a friction drive generator

its 270 lumens, not as bright as some other lights, but plenty bright enough for me. I dont do a whole lot of night riding, and i live in the city, so i really just need something that will get me seen. and yes, it is worth what they charge when you consider how its made and what its made for. I paid $22 for this light including shipping. my previous light was a flashlight that I did some work on to run off the white wire, and i paid $10 for that. this headlight is 2 super bright led's, its a sealed unit for weather resistance, and it has a built-in voltage regulator so it can be run directly off the white wire. not to mention its custom made right here in america, not in some sweat shop in china. it may not be the nicest looking, but for me, function will win out over form every time.
