4 stroke-oilsump+2stroke mix=weird idea cool idea but i dont know how the lubrication would work. Very ingenious though (unlike my spelling).

I think that the oil sump is eliminated on these engines.That's why they use 2 stroke mix

Oh so its just a fancy 2 stroke with valves.

No, it's a 4 stroke alright, it just does not have an oil sump like most 4 strokes have. That is why it burns a gas/ oil pre-mix like a 2 stroke, to get oil to the parts. The really neat thing is it is supercharged. There are 2 transfer cycles up into the "power boost chamber" which effectively supercharges the intake pressure before the intake valve opens.
