just got a reply from the Minister For Transport re: motorised bicycles, basically, i cant have more than 1/4hp,250watts, if the said bike does have this much, it cannot exceed 25 kmh with pedal assistance, without pedal assistance cannot exceed 6 kmh, freakin rediculous, yet if i remove the motor completely, i can ride it as fast as i can push it up to 60 kmh, and its deemed safe, but with a motor it's a threat to humanity ! top speed is 40 kmh, and thats flat out, comfortably rides at 25 kmh without assistance and costs $2.50 to fill and gets around 150k's.

Re: MB laws in south australia

Silly law, and it needs to be ignored. I hope that by staying out of the city, and not riding like a hoon I'll not get any unwanted attention. Just have to wait and see what happens
