Cylinder had 500 miles and put new rings in it (one of the old ones broke.) The cylinder was in perfect condition prior to the new rings and now after 200 miles it looks like this. Should I be worried about anything? The motor did get really hot the first couple of runs due to a air leak on carb.

What's your thoughts?

almost looks like you got some carbon grit from the head or gasket area (or maybe out of the ring lands) in there when you changed rings - doesn't look horrible tho

I'd run it and see how it goes.

All of my cylinders have ended up looking this way so I am not to worried about it. I was thinking that the rings were crap and scoring up my cylinder.

Chris you answered your own question, when the engine got very hot the carbon build up probably turned loose in the combustion chamber and caused the scratching. If it runs good I wouldn't worry about it , just keep an eye on it.
