I've always liked the Cranbrooks and New Yorkers.
As long as you check and lube the wheel bearings good, they seem to hold up fine.
And you gotta admit, they look real good too!
Do something about the fenders though. They WILL fail with a motor. Just a matter of when.
Remove or reinforce them BEFORE riding.

I have the exact same cranny. How does your's stay so clean? Mine is so dirty escpecially the back forks they are just caked in dirt. Then again I have to ride on a dirt road to my garage after every ride. :p

I have no dirt roads to worry about :).Our roads are pretty clean so the bike doesn't get very dirty. Usually it's just the back wheel that collects all of the grime cause of the oil the chain flings at it.
