Hey,
My name is Trae. I just ordered a "80cc" ebay engine kit. I'm planning on installing it on my dual susp bike but not sure yet. I don't really want to rack mount it, so some welding would be in order. My current idea is to extend the swing-arm and mount it there. I'll I have to get the engine in to see how big it is though.

Here is a pic of my current design theory. The engine would be mounted to the swing arm and the shock mount would be relocated to the seat pole. Also convert to a Single gear on the crank. It needs to be back further in the picture but it just the current theory.

is that bike aluminum or steel? i think its aluminum(its a mongoose).
the engine is a good size, not as small as you think.
goodluck at welding that, more work than i would do for that mongoose.
it would be easier/better to get another regular frame bike at walmart $99
but if you really like that bike(and if the rear of the bike is steel) and are good at welding, dont let nothing stop you,and good luck and have fun,let us know how it works out.

the main frame is alum. the swing arm is steel. I was going to get the alum welded at the shop around the corner that say aluminum welding. if not that I could come up with something
