Motorized Hand Truck?

This is just a crazy idea that popped into my head a few days ago because i found an old rusty hand truck in front of my neighbor's house, and i thought maybe i could attach an engine to it. My idea is that i could put the engine on the plate in the front of the hand truck, where you would normally put whatever you were carrying, and then use the wheels from a pitbike, which already have a sprocket so that i could do a simple chain drive directly from the output of a centrifugal clutch. Then i would add a plate to stand on in the back of the hand truck, and possibly a third wheel for stability. I don't know why, but the idea of riding a motorized hand truck down the street just makes me happy.
What do y'all think of the idea?

That is mighty cool! Although that isn't what i meant by a hand truck. I meant one of those two wheeled things that you tip back to carry the load.

Thanks Ludwig, now I have to make a motorized wheelbarrow too!
