Yesterday the engine suddenly quit. After I coasted to a stop (a few miles from home) I looked down at the engine and didn't see anything wrong. After I got home the first thing I decided to do was check for spark. Well I immediately discovered that the little brass clip inside the rubber plug connector had become disconnected from the plug wire. It was impossible to tell simply by looking at the bike. So I thought I should give people a heads-up for this possible problem.

The kit supplied spark plug boot should go in the trash when you unpack the kit the first time. It is by far the weakest link in the kits.
Replace it with a good automotive quality plug boot. They're available at any auto parts store.

Thanks for all the information, you to "2-door". I went to the local auto parts place, bought a plug wire, and am back on the road.
