I have a 66cc Grubee engine. I'm in the process of cleaning up the ports. They are actually pretty clean but there is a sliver of chrome lining extending into the intake port. Should I sand it down as part of the porting process? In the picture, the sliver of chrome lining can be seen at the bottom of the port. Any advice would be appreciated.

It appears that the lip you're talking about is all the way around the port. It's what I see anyway.
Yes, clean up the port including that overhanging area. Don't leave any rough edges inside the cylinder for two reasons.
1. Rough edges will increase the possibility of the chrome liner flaking away at that point.

2. You don't want anything rough to come in contact with the piston or piston rings.

You'll want to radius and smooth, even polish the area where you removed the chrome lip.

Good luck.
