Recently bought an engine kit from RAW. This is why so many quit trying before they get started. 1) Piston hit head, added gaskets to cylinder bottom. 2) Would not fire - kill switch was internally grounded. 3) Chain rubbed on clutch cover - ground off interference. 4) Clutch handle broke - replaced with stock item. 5) Chain of very poor quality - every other link would bind up. 6) No response to emails or phone calls.

I think this kit was cobbled together from whatever they had left in stock.

Not really the way we like to see a new member introduce themselves but welcome to the forum. Sorry for your problems but this is why we always suggest purchasing from a reputable vendor with a good standing in after sale customer service. Good luck, ride safe.
