Absolutely! I would have bought it sight unseen for $50.

You really don't need to get another frame, but if there's a certain one you have your eye on, don't let that stop you. You could most definitely put some brakes on that fork, which in many people's opinions here (mine included) needs to be done first.

Yep, no motorized bike is safe with just one brake.

I don't see any brakes on that bike, now that you mention it.

It was a death trap when I first rode it. Stuck clutch, leaking gas, kill switch didn't work and only one brake that didn't work well. LOL. One problem at a time, I need to get this all running well before I put a front brake or new front fork on the bike. I'll get to it.

Ehhhh.... I'd do the brakes first.

When I build a car for haulin'ass, I start with the brakes. Whatever money is left makes the car go fast.

You had your first roll of the 'brake dice' and won, I wouldn't press your luck ;-}

Everything is running fine and I hit a thrift store looking for a donor front end.

Back to the reason for this thread. Got a new bushing this weekend and the clutch is running well now. $6 problem solved.

Keep that bushing oiled, it has friction whenever you are idling.

What kind of oil? Light weight, heavy?
