Where cattle outnumber people 3 to 1.
Some of you know that I tear down barns and home-steads to re-claim the lumber. We find some pretty interesting things.

Old locks and hardware of all description are common, but this one had a key. Very important.

It'll keep the honest people away at least. Which is all you get from most locks anyway.

Let's see how long it takes me to lose the key. Better make myself a spare from some metal scrap.

Cool old padlock.
I like to play with locks; see if I can pick them. I've gotten pretty good at most common padlocks and a few combination locks as well. But, that old puppy would be a challenge. It has opposed tumblers which would essentially require picking two locks at the same time. Not an easy lock to open without a key. Don't loose the original.
