Hello,
I was just wondering what a proper sized (toothed) rear sprocket would be for use with the Harbor Freight 99cc Predator Engine, while using the jackshaft assembly from AGK. I did remove the governor, so the RPM's will be able to go higher than stock.

affordablegokarts: Jackshaft Assembly for 79cc HF Engine

I want it to be able to cruise at around 30 mph while not revving extremely high (as to prolong the life of the engine), and it must be able to haul a 185 lb rider up decently steep hills.

Thanks

You might want to start with a 50t rear sprocket and fine tune it from there. I doubt you'll run smaller than a 50t.....prolly between 50-60t should do ya fine.

Ok, im thinking a 56 tooth will be perfect. Is there any way to get a manic mechanic setup with a 56 tooth?

With a 56 tooth you will get about 31 mph @ 5000 rpms . A 50 tooth would probably work a little better . With the 50 tooth you would get about 35 mph .
