NT Carb Initial Set-Up Assistance

Greetings! I did a search, but didn't come up with this exact scenario (or maybe I didn't search right). Anyway, I have the 48cc Grubee. My CNS carb broke, so I got an NT from Dax.

Before I install this thing, how should I initially set it up? The float clip is almost all the way down (two up from the bottom) which I believe is rich. Should I go ahead and move that up now?

Also, is there some trick to attaching my throttle cable? I only see a silver (loose) plate down in the carb, which is resting on top of the needle and c-clip. Do I need to pull out some innards to get the cable hooked up right?

I still would like to hear opinions on the initial needle adj. though.

Holy cow, this NT is SO MUCH better than my old CNS. My bike is not a screamer, but it is very consistent and is running great. As a side note, I opted for the $1 o-ring from thatsdax. Really happy with this purchase.

I also got the brass-looking fuel filter from dax and it is "working" great. Plus, it looks cool.
