Today my bike decided to act up. I haven't ridden it over the weekend, and when i tried to start it in the morning, it gave me ****.

It started at first, (with the choke closed) but died 30 sec. later. It just wouldn't start again. Took out the spark plug and it was wet. Cleaned it up, put it back - still no go. Took it out again - wet again.
I guess it's flooded, but shouldn't it start after cleaning the spark plug?
What else should i do? Any thoughts?

Thanks,

Tudor

Check for problems pertaining to flooding....stuck float, crud in the float needle, ect. Try a new plug as well.

If the engine is really flooded I'd close the fuel valve, take out the plug and spin your rear tire to give the engine several revolutions. That should blow out any excess gas mixture out of the cylinder. Then check for spark. If you have spark then it probably is one of the carb issues that Bikeguy Joe mentioned.
