Does anyone know where and what kind on chain I can run on this occ chopper (look-alike) that is narrower? the chains that come with these kits is wide and there isn't much room between the chain and the tire. I think the size of the chains are overkill anyways. thanks

I ordered the grubee 66cc. Will it work on it? I would think that all the front sprockets are the same???

The HD single speed bicycle chain is even to narrow. The kit sprockets vary in width but are at least 5/32 wide. It is always possible to face off the sprockets to 1/8" wide, but it wouldn't be worth it for no more than you would actually gain in width.
I have often thought about #35 chain, but there again it wouldn't be worth the hassel of trying to find, and do the machine work that would be needed to adapt the sprockets.

Thats Dax sells a .81 thick drive sprocket.
Using his is easier than grinding the sides of the drive sprocket down to fit a BMX chain.
Most install's require grinding down of the rear sprocket to even use 415 chain.
I am planing on a occ chopper hapytime build soon.

Use a BMX chain
