How many miles have you gotten

I don't judge it in miles... I judge it by years!
The very first bike I built over three years ago still runs great & the guy rides it most every day.
I had another bike that 'only' lasted 2-1/2 years after beating it without mercy & racing it at full throttle everywhere.
It all depends on how you break it in & how you ride it!

He is so right. My old Puch moped will probably run forever, it was pampered when I had it and always ran sweet for years (and I wish I knew who stole it so I could ask him how it's still running. Well, no, that's not really what I'd do.)
I hope the engine on my recently wrecked one is thoroughly salvageable. It was just broken in and running really fine, then some dude hit me. I'll have to check it out with a fine-tooth comb at some point.

my father always said breakin a 2stroke the same way your gonna ride it so I did balls out all the time everywhere and so far so good new magneto and a spark plug in about 4000 miles now !!!!
