Hey guys

I have to bike now a mountain bike and a malvern star dragster both with 70cc motors.

I normally just ride the bike to get some speed then drop the clutch... I used to pedal about 20metres before it would start and now i need to pedal about 100 metres...what am i doing wrong??? or what do i need to change?

You may also want to check your spark plug if it was starting fine before.

...and yes, a little prime is a good thing.

Sorta....I push it for about two seconds the first time, dead cold. I use about 1/2-3/4 choke. It pushes down on the float, it's not a primer bulb like on a weedwacker engine.

Another thing that will help with starting... New spark plug (NGK B5HS), new wire & boot... & remove the plug-ins to the CDI, & solder & heat shrink the wires! ;)
