I am a huge newb for the Ebike thing, first build. I have been reading as much as I can and trying to suck it all up as I did with my china girl. However, it's time to ask some questions.

I would like to run 3 4s 16.0 ah r/c Lipo batteries in series inside my rear pannier bags. I would like to have 2 packs on the right side (chain side) and 1 pack and the controller on the left (hub wire side) in order for more equal weight distribution.

Is there rules for voltage drop or wire resistance for Lipo batteries in series?

Can I do this safely without screwing up the battery?

I was thinking of having pack 1 on the right side with positive wire extending to left bag of controller, negative wire going to positive of pack 2 also in right bag.

Negative wire of pack 2 going to positive wire of pack 3 thats on the let side.

So it would be kind of like long wire, short wire, long wire, short wire.

Can I do this or is it better to have all 3 packs tightly together? I have changed all connectors to Anderson power poles. I have not made up longer wires yet, just changed the ones on the battery.

Pre thanks for any input
