After running the stock muffler on the tuned pipe awhile both open and capped, I finally got off my duff and slapped a proper silencer back on it.
Much quieter than the uncapped stocker and substantially more power throughout the rev range as well! It has a nicer tone and more pleasing sound than it did even with the capped stocker.
Should have done this right from the start.
The insane power and speed potential of running three motorbicycling.com stickers makes this a mod best left to the truly disturbed speed addicts among our membership..
When I test rode it this afternoon, it took me fourteen miles to get the front tire back on the ground after it started so I could turn around....
