Keep in mind that if you visually inspect the soldered connections, they most likely will look fine, but the actual electrical quality if the connection may be poor. To repair them, you will need to remove the existing solder, clean the wires of all corrosion, and properly re-solder the connection.
The most common points of failure are the black wire terminal that fits under one of the mag coil's mounting screws, and the coil's center ground that comes out of the coil windings and is soldered to the metal coil frame. Every once in a while the blue wire connection is at fault.
