here in tx,its ok to ride on the sidewalk.on a regular bike.or an e-bike.on a gas bike,its whatever they feel like.so far,i have been seen riding by at least 10 cops and they never bother me at all.but,i usually go real slow!and i stay on the side of the road or shoulder,take back roads and cut through parking lots and stay out of cars way as much as possible.look on the brite side,at least they didnt take your bike and throw you in jail!but yeah,that sucks man
