i installed a secondary chain guide that mounts below the roller part of the chain tensioner that captures each side of the chain closer to the actual chain / sprocket engagement point. i had only a couple chain dropping issues in 500 miles one of which broke a spoke on my rear rim. just some added insurance if you are trying to protect an expsive rear rim from potential damage.
