I would like to upload some photos with arrows pointing to certain parts plus text. I can add a straight line but I'd like an arrowhead on the end. I can do one freehand but I prefer the look of the nice ones I've seen on other peoples photos. Can anyone help?How can I edit my photos?

Do you have Microsoft Picture It? That works great for it. Another one (a little more complex) is Gimpshop.
Hi jasonh, I've tried Windows Paint & Gimp2. Hi to hiker472 how do I get Microsoft Picture it? Or could you explain how to with Gimp?

Well unfortunately Gimp doesn't have a shapes tool like Photoshop does. (at least not 2.4 that I have)
It won't look perfect, but what you can do is use the paths tool to draw an arrow, and then hit enter to complete the shape and turn it into a selection. Then you can use your bucket fill to fill it in. if you make a new layer first, you can easily move it around.
