Hi Sticks n Stuff,

hey bud, i lived in miami but currently in tampa, i was habitualized in the year 2000, @ wich point i recieved a letter from the st dmv, stating that any bike , bicycle , exc, propelled by a motorized vihicle IS considered a motorized vihicle , ther for need a DL to operate ( heres the catch 22) ON A PUBLIC STREET. u can ride on side walks and bike paths with out a dl, as long as your over 16. hope it works

FS 316.1995 – Driving upon Sidewalk or Bicycle Path

No person shall drive any vehicle other than by human power upon a bicycle path, sidewalk, or sidewalk area, except upon a permanent or duly authorized temporary driveway. A violation of this section is a noncriminal traffic infraction, punishable as a moving violation as provided in chapter 318.
