Yes, I did.
I was just playing around with some 7/8" .120 wall DOM tubing (beefy).
You can't bend these puppies. I am changing up the stem configuration
and will be going to a drag bar on risers that will have a swept downward
look to them.

I painted them with special rubberized paint that I am R&D'ing right now as to
how well it will hold up. I have tried over 5 different paints and all have flaked off,
discolored, or came off in big sections like taffy. Hopefully this #6 batch will do the trick.
It went on very nicely and seems hard but flexible....so we'll see. =-]'

Mounting a Morini wouldn't be hard at all.
My motor mounts are not welded on. They are a true bolt-on affair.
The beauty of them is that they can be "clocked" into almost any
position of tilt, and can move forward & back or up & down on the frame.
This allows for perfect positioning, and gets the chain slack tug-of-war between
both sides of the jack shaft a thing of the past. The jack shaft mount can also move this way.
It's really a beautiful thing.

Oh yeah, the frame is all DOM Steel. Strong but still light respectively speaking.
In fact, My frame only weighs about 2 lbs. heavier than the stock Stingray frame
and it is much bigger.

It was designed by a chemical engineer and becomes one with the tire, as well as it is a paint that does not "dry" completeley so it stays rubbery and won't flake or peel.

I've seen and heard great things about that stuff.
It's a little pricey however. Everything adds up when
it comes to keeping these bikes as affordable as possible.
I know his blend isn't some new rocket science, so that tells
me I can achieve it here cheaper. It's just going to take R&D.
I think I nailed it this time however. I've only put one coat on
so far. The coverage was excellent and pretty tough.

One of the tricks to their paint is the thiner they use, which actually starts to break down the rubber under the paint in theory this effectively "welds", the rubber paint to the rubber tire.

I would totally love to help you devise your own version of this white wall paint if you don't succeed this time around!! You could make a fortune off of that alone!!

I don't think red would look good on this build. The colors I would choose are either blue or silver. Don't get me wrong I LOVE red but with blue and white it looks too christmas-y.

I was referring to the colors of tire wall paint I could make available for sale.
The walls on this blue bobber stay white...
