Hello Jim and Joe,
Thanks for the reply, 170-180, will do for now, but if you have both the
Head temp., exhaust gas temp, available, great!

I know that the boiling point of water is 212 degrees Fahrenheit, so can I assume the 170-180 is Fahrenheit ?

I Know That My Engine Used To Boil The Fuel In The Carb With The Stock Rear Sprocket . Now That Ive Switched I Havent Had That Problem So I Can Only Assume That The Temp Is Reduced. Something To Consider

can run as hot as 250-275 degrees fahrenheit. at about 320 the paint on the cyclinder starts to brown, thats a little hot. mine hits 250-275 all the time climbing hills. checked with temp gun.
