Post pictures when you can. That was probably a good event and I'll bet your bike got some attention.

I remember when it was called Moon Equipment Co. A gentleman named Dean Moon started the company and when he passed away they shut it down. The name, Moon, was held by the family but was sold to the current owner and the company reopened under the agreemenat that they change the name to Mooneyes.

They're famous for spun aluminum parts such as fuel tanks and wheel covers. They make and sell other things but that's where they started, making fuel tanks for dragsters and salt flat cars.

The event was a blast. I rode the race bike in... It was a hit... Got a company that's wants to do some frames... But hey that's my gig right.

Hung out with DMB... Got to see a 69 camero go right into the wall on the drag strip... Sad... Could have pulled the supercharger right out of the front after that crash.
