Are you saying the engine does not start? Or, is the engine not turning?

If everything was good before you replaced the clutch cable then start there. Could you have possibly disconnected some wiring? Check the connections from the CDI to the engine making sure they are good. Do you have fuel in the tank? Is it flowing to the carburetor? Is the choke open (lever down). Is the spark plug firing?

If the engine isn't turning when you release the clutch it could be that the cable is too tight and keeping the clutch disengaged. Take a look at these things and get back to us with what you find.
