Advice for trike owner

Interested in putting a motor on my trike but am not certain how to do it. Am also worried about the extra weight of the trike vs. a normal bike, and there is always the issue of a hilly climate

Would want a motor that I could still pedal with

Money is holding me back right now. My 16T freewheel is too low a gear. Will get a 14T but here's an idea. I chose to have my engine in front so my rear can still carry loads.
