im still under breakin and im using 16:1 and its running fine up to 31.5mph
now im going to move to 20:1 and after breakin im going to use 25:1
16:1 = 2oz oil - 1 liter gas
20:1 = 1.6oz oil - 1 liter gas
25:1 = 1.2oz oil - 1 liter gas

i think i need to buy a smaller measureing cup now or maybe a tiny bottle.

Break in ratio for 80cc is;

20 to 1,= 06.4 oz.
Synthetic 2 Stroke Oil per 128oz,;gallon gasoline.

After the break-in period, the ratio is increased to to 35 parts gasoline to 1 part oil.

tyrslider,

I don't disagree with you, However, Ya can't blame me for what I'm looking at, I'm just not sure I am speaking the same language as this Conversion Person is relaying to me.

I based my last mix on this chart ! ! ? !

This oil topic has been good fair and clear . Yet one thing I would like to stress to newbees keep an eye on the plug color. I always preferred a dark brown. I'd rather be rich before lean!

no,im using a full size plug, and i cut a hole/notch in frame above the plug for the boot to fit into, yes its that tight and i really wanted my engine center and not lop sided or off center and ive had no chain problems or frame problems from cutting and drilling frame but this bike is just temp for engine breakin and i will replace bike for a better one when i have the money and wont cut or drill new bike.

heres a question: will these engines heat up from using more or less oil?

The thing people seem to miss: It depends on the oil!!! Amsoil Saber 40:1 you can run all day 40:1 and almost be on the edge of too oily. Kmart special oil or whatever and maybe not so much.
I agree 100% I am new to this hobby and not familiar with HT engines but have experience with many other two strokers.

I was initially told to run 50:1 semi-synthetic in my Grubee. I do run full throttle for about 1/2-3/4 of my 7 mile commute. Burned the engine out after about a month! She locked up and left me hitching a ride! Ambient temperature was probable about 80 degrees.

Sometimes(often) these engines crap out regardless of fuel/oil mixture
50-1 dino oil works perfect to keep the UL airplanes from crashing, should be oK for a bikemotor.

hi guys. i have a starfire g4 66cc that is well broke in and very dependable. it's longevity being priority 1, how many oz of oil per 1 gallon of gas should i use? a little overkill is ok with me. the owners manual recommends 25:1 after break in. would this b sufficient for the arizona heat and if so, does 25:1 equal 2.56 oz oil to1 gal gas?
