Thanks to the kind folks in the forum my K-Mart Santa Fe cruiser is up and running with 21 miles showing on the Walmart Bell speedometer. But it is still definitely a work in progress. Yet I am thinking of a second project and bought a used new bike the other day here on Craigslist and it is a K-2 Interbay and is the lightest, easiest to pedal bike I have ever ridden. It has quick release wheels though, and I wonder how much trouble it is to change the quick release to bolts, if that can be done. The wheels have 32 spokes. Is it best left as a pedal bike to enjoy, or a candidate to motorize?
