Hi all,I'm a 53 y.o. man that has loved bicycles since I was 3.I have riden them for work,play,dates,you name it,I have made an excuse to ride there on My bike.I have owned quite a few bikes over the years,currently my favorite is a Schwinn 7-speed.I have always wanted to put an engine on a bicycle,much like the early pioneers of motorcycling.
Actually,I was pretty happy riding a motorcycle for most of my adult life until just a year ago,when it seemed that it wasn't as fun as it used to be.Maybe because like automobiles,there isn't much "tinkering" around you can do.With all the computers,electronics,ect. it's just no fun.
I am currently working on a beach cruiser and want to make a really retro looking motor-bike.Any help would be greatly appreciated.Please email with thoughts,clubs,ect. especially in he Detroit area.
My ultimate goal would be to have a group of Ladies,and Gentleman that will ride our bikes,dressed in period clothing for parades,ect.
