Rixe tandem ?? info

Saw Bairdco's post with a picture of a Rixe fork. I'm trying to learn more about this as I have a tandem that I'm hoping to rebuild...that sure looks like the same fork. Any info, links, pics, knowledge would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.

all i know is from googling rixe. seems they made a lot of different bikes in germany in the 60's.

those forks are crazy. they'd be awesome for an overkill/mad max motor bike, though.

There is a Rixe Tandem currently on e-Bay right now, starting bid $250.00 http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dl...akeTrack=true&ssPageName=VIP:watchlink:top:en There was an American made version of these forks made in Burbank CA by a company called Martin, they made a custom motorized bike called the RoadRunner.
