So i have the Chinese 49cc and its killing me. every day i feel like the motor hates reving less and less. it started to like to run around 2900 rpm and now it dosent go past 2400 without vibrating everywhere.

Like the title says, i wanna buy a new motor. I dont care about cc specifically, i just want something reliable, ported, and faster. Is it possible for the price and what do you guys recommend.

sorry, vibration is rarely the motor's fault - check your mounts and check your frame for cracks - a new motor can't fix those

I heard the rapid vibration was caused by an unbalanced crank, is that incorrect? if so, what type of material do you suggest i wedge between my mounts.

Disregarding the vibration comment, id still prefer something more powerful, and much more reliable and quality.

older unbalanced cranks don't start to vibrate until speeds get over about 25mph

I recommend cutting some pieces of PVC pipe to put between frame & motor. Remember, if a strong man can grab motor and frame and move it at all sideways, motor is loose.

The bottom line is all of those 2-strokes are complete pieces of crap. The evidence of that claim is the existence of this website with thousands of topics regarding problems with 2-strokes. Get a 79cc predator and a motor mount instead. I ride a 212 with the better part of 10k miles on it and I don't carry tools unless I go for a ride longer than 15mi.

What he said. Almost all the 2 strokes are junk. If you decide to go the 79cc predator route, read this: http://www.instructables.com/id/79cc-Motorized-Bicycle-From-Scratch/

I don't know what to tell you.
Click here--->http://thatsdax.com/ENGINE_KIT_PARTS_PAGE_1.html
and search the entire page to find his china girl engines (4th row from the bottom). You get the bottom and top ends. He does sell top and bottom ends separately here--> http://thatsdax.com/ENGINE_KIT_PARTS_PAGE_3.html

If you really want to wake it up I would recommend installing these parts: a high compression head, a 15mm intake, and an expansion pipe

I tend to leave things standard, while taking any inet claims with a grain of salt.

Just a thing. The Chinese 2 stroke kits are amazing. They are geared with American Federal law in mind. I mean they are geared to cruise at 20 MPH while driving 26 or so inch wheels.

We ask them to do far more and get mad when they can't do what a larger 4 stroke can do easily.

They really are meant to do whats allowed. If not red lined they do really well. I beat em to death like everyone else but they are amazing.

Just sayin' we keep beating a pig for having short legs.

The ratio alone is brutal,

Amazes me they do so well considering.
