I was doing about 30-40 on one of my local roads. I was thinking about straight-piping my bike for better performance, but had no access to tools to cut the exhaust. All of a sudden, I looked down to see the larger part of the exhaust, the catalytic converter, slipping off the actual exhaust pipe. I pulled over, and that cheap Chinese muffler/catalytic converter fell off completely. The bike now is loud, BUT IT SOUNDS GREAT! Also, a great power boost. I don't mind the noise, but could this straight pipe possibly cause any damage to the motor?
