i mounted my kit on a ten speed fram. i also had to tun the handle bars around because they were to low. it seems to ride ok. there 27in tires by the way. pretty narrow. was this a wise pick?

the 27's will give you speed...
but, they tend to be weaker than mtn/cruiser wheels
I have personally 'tacoed' road bike wheels just applying the brakes hard (haven't ridden one since mtn bikes hit the market in the early 80's)

watch the potholes and bumps,if you can try and swap out the tenspeed wheels for wider ones.but the frame is perfect.
